Up for sale is the original Vertigo UK 1st pressing from 1971 of  Ian Matthews  LP called If You Saw Thro' My Eyes. Gatefold textured cover. Including the original UK vertigo inner sleeve, in great condition.

It also includes many old newspaper clippings about Ian from Melody Maker and Disc and Music etc. It used to belong to an old photographer from Sweden who worked at the newspaper. He didn't listen to his records, he just collected them cause he got them from his job.

This is the self-titled debut LP by the English progressive group Affinity, with the lovely Linda Hoyle on vocals. Great copy of this 1st German pressing on the Vertigo swirl label. Laminated gatefold cover in excellent condition. Please look at my pictures! The vinyl is also in excellent condition with wonderful playback. Swirl label on the a-side is a bit dented, it seems that two labels have been pasted on. Most likely a manufacturing defects (see picture). Including the original German white inner sleeve.

Up for sale is the original Vertigo UK 1st pressing from 1972 of Catapilla's second LP called Changes. Housed in a spectacular die-cut gatefold cover! (See my pictures.) This LP is hopelessly rare and very very hard to find, easily one of the rarest LPs on the Vertigo Swirl label. So here's your chance to buy this massively rare and very sought after Catapilla LP, in this stunning condition.

The record is in brilliant condition, shining like it was just pressed. With just some very very light sleeve removal marks, only visible under a strong light. I have played it and it sounds fantastic! There is a little crackle during the quiet intro on the first song on side A. The rest of the LP sounds fantastic, strong and clear audio! Hardly any crackle at all, amazing sound! The LP is housed in the original vertigo inner sleeve, also in great condition.

The unlaminated die-cut gatefold cover is in great condition and the insect's head fully intact. Just some very light corner and edge wear. Please look at the pictures and see for yourself.

More info about the LP:
One of the most mysterious of all the innovative acts signed by progressive Vertigo label in the early Seventies was jazz-rock group Catapilla. ‘Changes’ was their second album, first released in 1972. It features the powerful vocals of Anna Meek that have been variously described by critics as ‘elegant’ and even ‘witch-like’. Her voice is complemented on a series of extended performances by the saxophone playing of leader Robert Calvert (who is not to be confused with the singer and poet Robert Calvert of Hawkwind fame). Catapilla’s style veers between avant-garde jazz-fusion and experimental acid rock and there is plenty of room for experimentation on tracks like ‘Reflections’ and ‘Thank Christ For George’. Keyboard player Ralph Rawlinson supports Robert and Anna, and a strong rhythm section includes Bryan Hanson (drums) and Carl Wassard (bass). Provocative and evocative, the music of Catapilla has legs and will creep up on you!

Up for sale is the ORIGINAL Vertigo UK 1st pressing from 1971 of Still Life's self-titled album. Excellent British heavy organ dominated progressive rock. Housed in equally spectacular textured gatefold cover! (See my pictures.) This LP is hopelessly rare and very hard to find, one of the rarest LPs on the Vertigo Swirl label.

The record is in brilliant condition, shining like it was just pressed with NO visible hairlines or marks. I have played it and it sounds fantastic!!! Hardly any crackle at all, even completely silent between tracks. Amazing sound! The LP is housed in its original vertigo inner sleeve, also in great condition.

Gatefold textured cover is absolutely stunning. Very flat and the spine is almost perfect with the text is fully readable. Just some very light corner and edge wear. EX.

I've just come across a collection of nearly mint original UK presses from the 60's and 70's. They have all been very carefully stored from new.

Here is your chance to buy a near mint copy of Manfred Mann’s Earth Band’s classic album from 1973 Messin’. This is the first UK pressing in absolute superb condition! It has a die-cut front to the gatefold sleeve and comes complete with its original polythene-lined inner sleeve ”Plastic bags can be danderous …” - which is in mint condition also. The record has the first press spaceship design Vertigo labels, also MINT condition!

This spectacular gatefold cover looks like it could have left the shops this morning. No upgrade required here. Please look at my pictures because words can't really describe how wonderful this copy is. I do my best to show the record and cover from all angels.

The vinyl has immaculate deep-gloss playing surfaces which are completely unmarked in strong daylight with hardly no sign of play at all. The record is in brilliant condition, shining like it was just pressed. When I carefully play-check it, it sounds as great as it looks. The sound quality is simply superb!
